Frequently Asked Questions:

How will I know if medical cannabis is working?

You will notice an improvement in your quality of life and symptoms.

What am I allowed to purchase with my medical document (Rx)?

You are allowed to purchase any products from a Health Canada regulated License Holder. This may be dried cannabis flower, cannabis oil, cannabis spray, cannabis capsules, etc, depending on the recommendations in your personalized care plan.

Why do I need to have access to more than one License Holder (LH)?

It is important to have access to more than one LH in case your chosen LH has a product supply shortage.

Do I have to purchase from all LH’s?

No, you can purchase from just one LH if they have all the medical cannabis products that are part of your personalized care plan.

Do I need to use the daily prescribed amount?

No, please refer to your personalized care plan and titration table. Your daily prescribed amount is more of a limit guideline rather than a recommended dose.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Do not worry if you miss a dose. Resume dosing as usual according to your personalized care plan.

Can I take too much?

In some cases, patients can consume too much THC. Please always refer to your personalized care plan to understand dosing or contact us.

What can I do for stomach upset from the oil?

If cannabis oil causes an upset stomach, please try taking it with food.

Can I buy both dried cannabis flower and cannabis oil?

Yes, if your personalized care plan recommends both product types.

Why do I have to take THC?

Depending on your condition and symptoms, there are benefits to utilizing THC that may reduce your symptoms further than utilizing CBD alone. Please refer to your personalized care plan to see if THC is recommended.

I do not want to be high. What can I do so I’m not feeling high?

Refrain from utilizing high THC medical cannabis products. Unlike THC, CBD is non-intoxicating.

How do I place an order and how long will it take to get to me?

You can place an order with your LH online or by phone. Please refer to your personalized care plan for your LH’s contact details. Shipping depends on which method you choose and can typically take anywhere from 1-4 business days.

How do I register with the LH and how long does it take to be approved?
